Mud buggies – Always outdoors, the difference between mud buggies and other buggies or pilots is that you do actually get to race against each other head-to-head, and that’s a rare opportunity. Because speed and vehicles are involved, safety dictates that only so many of these fantastic buggies can be on the course at any one time, but even if you’re not in the first group you’ll get trackside viewing and enjoy the race from the pits as your buddies tame the buggies!

This is a fantastic classic group event. A central 2/3* hotel is provided. On Saturday your paintball day promises to be a bit “hit”! Dressed in camouflage and armed with a gun which shoots high-powered paint-balls, the objective of the game is to outwit and outsmart your opposition and of course not to be shot – making sure you make it back to base camp before they do! Let us take this opportunity to warn you that you may pick up a bruise or two along the way. There’s nothing like ‘taking one for the team’!

Alternatively you might want to opt for a kick – split the boys into teams for a ‘winner takes all’ tournament or just knock it about in a friendly showboat session. How the game runs is up to you. A fully licensed sports bar screening live football matches is also located on site, giving punters the perfect opportunity to kick back and quench their thirst post-match!

On Saturday you have a great mixed group activity – Grand Prix karting! Karting is one of the most popular mixed activities there is, not least because it’s fast, frenetic, and fiendishly funny, whilst the fact that its two-pedal principal is so simple to understand makes it a great leveller of abilities – no matter what the self-proclaimed semi-professionals in your group might tell you as they flip their visor down and don their race grimace.

We will then book you into a top restaurant for a 2-course, pre-paid meal – you just have to pay for drinks on top!

After your meal you taken care of by the Beer Babes. The premise is simple – the bitches get your beers for you all night, so you can crack on with the fun stuff. Dressed in sexy Bavarian wench costumes they provide drinks, banter and something a bit hotter than your sweaty mate to look at. The girls arrive dressed, collect the kitty, take the drinks orders, and proceed to deliver fresh drinks, to your hand, until the night is over or the money runs out. They provide receipts for every transaction and return unspent kitty to you. Additionally, they bring a selection of games, forfeits and dares. They move the group from venue to venue, keeping everyone together and doing headcounts. They call taxis when needed and… oh, blah blah blah. They look hot and they bring you beer. What else do you need to know?

A great group event for any mixed group that like to get in the fresh air! A central 2/3* hotel is provided. On Saturday you then have a choice of mini tank driving or 18 holes of golf.

Mini Tanks – Just over a metre wide and two metres long, these machines look the part and by using the same ‘skid steer’ system as a real tank, they feel it too! Each session runs for 90 minutes with a group sharing two tanks. Positioned in an open cockpit, drivers will operate the vehicles, under instruction, around our purpose built off-road circuit. Track conditions do vary considerably over the course of the year; participants are advised to wear light, old clothing, with the emphasis on the old!

The golf course, which is situated only a mile and a half from the city centre of York, is a parkland course with tight fairways, small greens and a substantial number of mature trees of diverse species.

Although it is a relatively short course (6105 yards) it is a definite test for golfers of all abilities. It is not easy to ‘burn it up’. The secret of a successful round is straight hitting and accepting one’s punishment when in trouble. The four par three holes are rated as the toughest par threes in the York Union of Golf Clubs. The course’s antiquity is reflected in the quality of the greens.
